Yes I have been on a vacation and it was real nice, but why am I irregular and not catching up with you all, I really cant help the power cuts and the BSNL internet connection. However, I'll soon be back hopefully and do lemme know whats up with you guys :)

As the rules go, i have to write about 7 things I love, I long for and I am obsessed with. Raka tagged me with obsession one a while back too..
Ummm... Confessions are a hard thing to do.
1. Life- Yes, I am high on life. never give up is my spirit. Optimism lets me lead it that way. looking forward to new twists, or each turn doesn't let me feel monotoned.. I love all the gifts life has adorned me with including my family and friends.
2. Footwear- being a woman I am obsessed with footwear. Sneakers, runners, heels, flats, mojris, Ballerinas, Stilletoes, You name it, I got it. :D I have a good collection. and even though I am always running short of them and always drooling for another pair. hehe.. I never buy a single pair :D
3. Music- Who doesn't love music. To me music is food for soul. It saves me from stress, boredom and fatigue. Refreshing always, it fills me up with an enthusiasm and a spirit to go on.
4. Chocolate Truffle- Though everyone knows me being a Foodie, I am not a sweets-person, but one thing I cant hold back my temptation for is Chocolate Truffle, Death by chocolate cake and pastries. :D
5. Freedom- I completely love my being single. when I look around, I see all my friends- either married or committed and bound. And I feel so glad that I am free. I do not have anyone to give explanations to about not taking a call, not replying a sms or talking to someone.
6. Knowledge/ Learning/ Wits- ever hyper to learn new things, know about facts. reading, surfing, helps. Also, I am Witty and I know it. Dangerous combi I know. :D
7. Blogging- yes. It is a channel to express myself and I totally love it :D

Back..
Dad is back home and fine now.. Though he will take some time to heal properly (this wasnt an Iodex Maliye, Kaam pe Chaliye thingy). Needs rest, a lot of, only if he lets us switch off his phone and the visitors a.k.a Chahne wale please let him rest..
So I am little relieved. And hopefully, back to blogging normally after my ailments and then dad's (if my tests for the month are over- Are You listening RABB JI!!).
I want to express my Gratitude to Raka and Harshita for being there to emotionally support me.. Really guys thanks a lot. It really means. Raka's gesture on her blog, brought more wishes and prayers. :)
Besides, in the meanwhile, I have been tagged a lot all around. Thank you guys, for missing me :D

1. Lot of people find my smile cute. Though there is not 1 percent my contribution in it. God's Gift :D
2. I, at times pretend to be dumber than I actually am. I find it amusing :D
3. I am in a habit of finding humor in every darn situation.
4. People laugh at me because I am different, I laugh at them cuz they are all the same :D

Arjun tagged me, but since I have had the perplexity already on FB, so it wasn't difficult to copy and paste it here :D
And, with this tag, I pledge not to do more than one tag per month :D

1. I do not like to talk about myself very often. But I keep on doing it every now and then over then blog is a different story, and isn't blogging all about that?
2. I always wanted to get into a creative field as a professional, but sometimes, you have to compromise in life with your ambitions and now I have learnt to be patient.
3. I am more of a listener than a talker. Not because I do not have things to talk about but because, my thoughts generally aren’t understood by normal people and they bring up controversies.
4. I am a calm person, I avoid controversies, I do not like getting into arguments, though discussions are welcome. I avoid getting annoyed with anyone over anything- it is difficult to provoke me, but in case, if any kind of discrepancies set in, it is hard for me to let them go and get back to normal again.
5. I am a sociable person otherwise, I like meeting people, talking to them, learning new things, but when it comes to having friends, I am not very generous :D, i.e. I do not be friends with every other person.
6. I have an unlimited appetite for knowledge. I love reading, surfing Internet for the sole purpose of knowing more things.
7. Blogging has been a milestone in my life. I can express myself more often and without any constraints. I came across many people whose thoughts I could decipher and found some real good friends too.
8. I love watching movies. Genre doesn't hurdle me from watching a movie. Bollywood is changing for good and I am loving it. Hollywood makes great movies already, but I have a different stake when it comes to reviews. i may or may not like the movie as such, but I still like to watch the movie, I can recall only movies which I quit in between are Yuuvraaj and Drona.
9. I love GOD though I aint very spiritual.
10. I have a hell load of Attitude. And I take pride in it.
11. What irritates me the most is when I talk some sense or fact to someone, and they being unaware are not ready to even listen to me and only contradict.
12. I love dancing. I feel it is an expression in itself. But I do not contest ever in competitions as I dance for myself and not to prove on others.
13. I hate people who keep on crying on spilt milk. Whatever happened has happened, u can’t correct it, u can just make the future better by learning from your past.
14. I believe you do not have to go through things yourself to learn, one can always learn from others' experiences as well.
15. I hate public display of emotions. One has to be very special to have seen a tear in my eyes.
16. Everyone have their own problems, so I do not like troubling them more by discussing mine with them; one- they do not have enough time to think over yours, and two- they can’t do anything to solve them. You always have to help yourself.
17. I just can’t- 'cant' be dependent on anyone. That’s why I believe in Jugaad technology- I am a jack of all trades (master of none is just another issue)
18. I have a song for every situation.
19. One thing I've learnt in life is- nobody is nobody's friend. Everyone has a need to fulfil- some have emotional needs, some have selfish needs, some just use others.
20. Suspense thrillers still remain my fave genre of reading, but I am now reading the classics, to know what they are like to be so acclaimed. Also, I find it difficult to read romance- and the story I am doing on the blog is just an experiment.
21. Yes, I sometimes torture myself.
22. I have a very soft corner for orphans, i volunteer at Red Cross.
23. hehe, yes at times I too feel like flying away from this bad bad world :D
24. I am a hard core logical person. I need sound logic behind everything.
25. I believe in rituals and like following them.

A Tag and Updates
1) Who are you?
Well, I resemble a female version of homosapiens closely.
To be more precise, I am kinda struck somewhere in between older and modern times. Somewhat contemporary, somewhat gen-next.
2) What have you achieved in your life till now?
Not at least what I am supposed to, as yet. But I have a strong gut feeling that I have come for a reason and I am the chosen one- but still dunno what for.
3) Do you respect your parents and obey them, even if they don't share your viewpoint?
Yes, sometimes I do get irritated, but in the end, they are right at their own views and I respect them because what ever I am today, the whole credit goes to them.
4) Do you believe in God?
I sure do. nothing like that I have not been into problems, I have my share of perplexities well in time, but I consider myself blessed to have realize that what ever happens, happens for good. Though his ways of telling us that are weird.
5) What are the things that you associate with God?
Everything in the world. He is the supreme Puppeteer.
6) Is it really not necessary to stand out for whats right and not complaint for whats wrong?
It is absolutely necessary to stand out for what is right but it is a matter of choice to not complaint for what is wrong.

Time for updates:
- I apologise all Blogger friends for the late behaviour, I dunno wuss up with me.. I get online, log in to blogger, see the updated blogs, open links, don't feel like reading- let alone commenting, close the windows and go into dark again. I don't feel like talking. I am trying my level best to come out of the slumber and clear the block!!
- I have watched the over hyped Slumdog Millionaire, It is a typical Bollywood Masala Movie with a difference of being directed by a foreigner, we have already seen these things earlier- the riots, the rackets, the conning at Taj Mahal and places like that and almost all other things. The idea if setting a non-reality show in the background did not work for me. I have liked Dev Patel since Skins.
- I went to Ludhiana yesterday to see a friend after almost two years- since our Univ got over. And it rocks reuniting with friends!!

Tough my blog is full of anecdotes but she says she wants to know me more so here I go--

The officer's colony- Sundarnagar- H.P.
I have been the naughtiest kid in the whole family (I still am till date), prone to accidents and tod-fod :D
Paired with my elder cousin- Varun Bhaiya (Massi's son), no kid in the whole world could compete us in mischief. We were the gang leaders (;D hehe)
My grandfather (Naana Ji) was posted in the beautiful hills of Sundarnagar. I would have been some 3-4 yrs old, they had a Surd family in the neighbourhood, whose son- Mandy (Mandeep Singh – I still remember) we never let him play in our team, rather irritated him and teased him over something or the other.
It was a Sunday morning; I and Bhaiya were playing in the sun, making castles with the sand. Head-bathed Mandy came out of his house, (we never missed one chance of making fun of his long hair and that too loose) as always we did laugh over him for a while, but he was cool enough 
to not mind and wanted to join us for the castle making (I did not like him at all) but I let him, though my bro stared at me with annoyance, but he had recognized the naughty spark in my eyes and let Mandy join us (his loose hair were alluring me to pull them ;)).
I asked Mandy to turn his back towards me and winked at Bro, the moment he turned around, Bro held his arms tight so that he could not move and I hand-filled the sand and put it in his hair, Mandy was fighting us to let him go, he was crying, but the devil inside us was dominant over him :D
When we let him go, he ran to his house and brought his mom to our house to complain- though our moms punished Bro n I for the same, but this is one incidence I can never forget- One mischief that I enjoyed the most and even today, when I am keying it down, the copyrighted 6" smile is present on my face :D
