Maslow's need heirahy theory explains the same, when a rational man (I wonder why do they exclude women) fulfils his Phsyological needs, he looks on to Safety needs, then towards Social needs, further to Esteem needs and then towards his Asthetic needs, finally analyses himself whether he has attained Self Actualization.

i dont think there anything like a planet which is contended...
its each persons heart but only at some moments.. i think u wud also had had moments when u were content..
but then its so simple to be happy.. so difficult to be simple..:)
Sorry but these are just my ideas .. u might or might not agree..
contentment is nuthn but a state of mind.. i had moments of happinesses, but being human, contentment is sumthn unachievable.. as they say.. human demands are never ending.. one is fulfilled, another one grows..
